Rose Delights’ Mission
We distinguish ourselves through an ingredient-driven approach, the exclusive use of flower rosin, and collaborations with celebrated chefs, farmers, and designers. Rose is a kitchen taking responsibility for every step of production. Instead of masking the plant’s flavor, we find beauty in it, exploring alluring ways to incorporate into each recipe seasonal fruit that’s sourced from some of California’s most respected purveyors. Operating a 10-acre polyculture farm located in the Sierra Foothills, our mission is to produce the first-ever closed-loop edibles on the market.
Our philosophy is rooted in the culinary tradition of seasonality and integrity of each ingredient. It’s a thread that runs through all the things we do as a company.
We believe in embracing what’s purposeful. To that end, the things we make address the daily needs of our customers – from flower to Delights. We love the natural perfection of flower. Our edibles are infused with single-strain whole flower rosin to preserve the beneficial properties of the plant providing a dynamic, integrative experience. We source single-strain cannabis and hemp from small farms for our flower and have exclusive partnerships with leaders in genetics.
Flower Rosin
Rose is the first edible company in the recreational market to exclusively use flower rosin, a solventless extract that conveys the purest expression of the source plant. The end result: clearer and stronger effects, enhanced therapeutic properties, and a true representation of the flower’s flavor.
We favor unprocessed, unrefined cannabis that is organically grown for the same reason we source the highest quality produce - for the nuances in flavor and the medicinal benefits of using whole foods and plants.
Most edibles are a mass-produced mix of leftover trim refined into a concentrate or extract using chemical solvents. We prefer our edibles to taste like what they are--single-strain flower sourced from Rose partner farms. We squeeze concentrate from this flower to create rosin which is a resinous imprint of the plant preserved at its peak potency. A delicate process that’s done by hand in-house on a hydraulic press using below-volatilization heat & pressure to preserve the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other beneficial chemical compounds natural to the plant.
Delights
Delights, which take their name from the traditional Turkish confections, are the first edibles on the recreational market to be infused with single-strain, whole-flower rosin that’s pressed in-house, which preserves the natural qualities of the plant and delivers a deeply satisfying experience.
Sourcing
We approach fruit sourcing the way a restaurant kitchen does - by talking with farmers to get inspired by their unique seasonal produce varieties. These living ingredients are brought back to our kitchen where our chefs begin a co-creation with fruit and cannabis flower.
Each limited release is made to tell a story through thoughtful combinations of seasonal produce by our chefs. Preserving fruits and vegetables into a Delight leaves us with an ephemeral snapshot of local produce at its richest flavor long past the close of the season.
Working exclusively with produce that’s grown locally and sustainably allows us to collaborate with a community of farmers and chefs who share our commitment to protect our natural resources.
